Dr. Neil Silver

Dr. Neil Silver is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Dentistry. He completed his one-year dental internship at the Toronto General Hospital prior to joining the Sheridan Dental Centre in 1986.

Dr. Silver is committed to continuing education to ensure that his patients benefit from the latest in dental knowledge, technology and materials.  He is a past member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (www.aacd.com).  He is a current member of the Toronto Implant Study Club and is applying the principles he is learning from the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education (www.pankey.org) in Key Biscayne, Florida.

Dr. Silver’s priority is prevention.  He strives to understand each patient’s dental requirements, in relation to their circumstances, objective and temperament.  He then takes the necessary time to educate his patients about their options and have them actively participate in the choices for their dental treatment.

Dr. Silver and Maureen married in 1988. Their young family includes Alexandra, Daniel and Matthew.  Outside the practice, Dr. Silver stays fit with squash, baseball and biking.
