Dr. Sheldon Little
Dr. Sheldon Little is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry. He co-founded the Sheridan Dental Centre in 1973 in what is now the Pickering Town Centre. The expanding practice moved to its current location in 1993.
In 1989, Dr. Little recognized the emerging discipline of cosmetic dentistry as an area of potentially significant importance to his patients. In addition, he saw it as a way to address his personal commitment to providing truly beautiful looking smiles for his clients. He joined the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentists (www.aacd.com) and in 1992, after lengthy documentation and peer reviews, was bestowed with the prestigious Accreditation Award. Photographs of many of his patients with their beautiful new smiles line the halls of his practice.
Recently, Dr. Little has been attending The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education (www.pankey.org) in Key Biscayne, Florida. By staying on top of the leading edge of dentistry, he continues to help his patients maintain their oral health and beautiful smiles for a lifetime. He now cares for families where several generations have been his patients for many years.
Dr. Little and Marilyn married in 1973. they have three grown children – Adam, Jeremy and Sari. Outside the office, Dr. Little’s interests reflect his creativity and appreciation of quality: fine films, live theatre and great dining with friends.
